2008 IEC Meet in Hickory, NC - July 22-26, 2008
Located on I-40 in western North Carolina and is about an hour from Charlotte or Asheville.
The host hotel is The Park Inn and has over 100 guest rooms, several executive suites,
enough meeting space for more than 1000 people, and 150 parking spaces just for our club. The hotel is located at 909 Highway 70 SW,
Hickory, NC 28602. Phone (828) 328-5101. Room rate is $74 and each room has a hair dryer, iron, ironing board, coffee maker, and free
local calls. The hotel also has a fitness room.
To be assured of our $74 per night rate be sure to tell the hotel that you are with the International Edsel Club.
Our scheduled events include a trip to a NASCAR car building shop in Mooresville and a tour of a world class Lincoln collection
with over 60 cars right in Hickory. Self guided tours will include the Hickory Aviation Museum which has a small collection of
warplanes and several local historical sites.
